The MYIRO-9 only takes ~four minutes to scan an A3-sized chart with 1500 patches, 47 columns and 32 rows of 6 x 6 mm patches within one single scan! Users obtain data for M0, M1 and M2, conforming to ISO13655:2009 and offering improved certainty of colors and OBA. The MYIRO-9 uses a free-format-function enabling it to measure virtually every chart that might be used to calibrate printers and create profiles.
Making it even easier to use is it has a full color LCD screen which provides enhanced user operation. It also features both USB and Ethernet connectivity enabling you to easily share one MYIRO-9 between multiple machines. With the unique integrated image scanner, it enables automatic chart alignment and can read QR codes for fully automated sheet and chart identification. Similar to the groundbreaking FD-7, the MYIRO-9 features built-in wavelength calibration and temperature drift compensation, maximizing day to day accuracy and reliability. MYIRO-9 also includes FD-S2w measurement utility software as a standard accessory. The software enables easy measurement of color charts with or without definition file.
The optional automatic sheet feeder enables continuous measurement which is perfect for users who have to measure dozens of sheets every day. The automatic sheet feeder enables up to 100 sheets to be pre-loaded and measured with minimal user input. Combined with the QR code reader function, the measurement results can be automatically linked to the printed sheet.

The MYIRO-9 is capable of automatic measurement of color charts used for color calibration of printers. The MYIRO-9 can acquire color measurement data under the ISO measurement illumination conditions M0, M1 and M2 in a single scan, thus enabling faster and more accurate color measurement than if done manually
Existing color charts can be used
Unlike conventional auto-scanning chart readers that require color charts made specifically for the instrument, the FD-9 allows even first-time customers to obtain good results using existing color charts, thanks to Konica Minoltas proprietary image processing technology which automatically recognizes the positions of patches to measure on the printout.

New Konica Minolta Sensing equipment is covered by a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase. Upon inspection, if the product is proven to be defective, it will be repaired free of charge. Following the date of a repair, the warranty will be extended for 90 additional days or the remaining period of the warranty, whichever is longer.
The warranty does not apply in the following cases: (a) damage to the product due to mishandling, alteration, accident, impact, dropped, sand, liquid or moisture damage, tampering, battery or chemical corrosion; or, (b) failure to follow operating, maintenance or environmental instructions prescribed by the applicable instruction manual or shipping damage; or, (c) damage caused during service performed by other than Konica Minolta Sensing; or, (d) if the product has had its serial number(s) or other identifying data removed.
